What’s the difference between this and Dean’s blog?

Dean Rubine does a great job getting the word out about Oyster River Cooperative School District news, particularly around elections.

Like many in Oyster River, I find his ORCSD Clean Slate blog (orcsdcleanslate.blogspot.com) to be an important source of information and insight on how the school district works. I wish he would post more often!

I usually agree with Dean, and even when I don’t I always find his posts to be thoughtful and helpful.

So what’s different about this?

The main difference is this is my take on things, and Dean’s is Dean’s. You’ll see that when we’re talking opinions, we usually agree. We each have our own perspectives. Dean’s been at this much longer than I have, and my view comes largely from my experience as an ORCSD School Board member.
